Not to sound horribly unappreciative or anything, but what client are you using for seeding? Basically every time you seed something, it seems to hand out the pieces more or less sequentially to multiple users before moving on to newer pieces. Using Initial Seed mode in utorrent and a couple other clients, it'll hand out every part to somebody before worrying about requests for stuff that's been spread around, to ensure that the cloud gets a full copy before any single user has one. The benefit of this, aside from speed, is that you personally only need to upload about 1.3 or 1.4ish before there are plenty of completes to back you up. If your upload bandwidth isn't the best (mine sure isn't) it'll really help lower the strain.
ReplyDeletenp. i'm using uTorrent with initial seeding, if i could get more than stupid 30k/s (and it fails 3/4 times during daylight hours) to megaupload i prefer doing that instead. (though my UL is only like 120k/s)
ReplyDeletewish i did have a better method though, seeing as at times i'm only sending both together at 40-60k/s total.
